About the Foundation

Established in 1998, the Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Incorporated, is a distinguished Georgia-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to driving meaningful change through education and philanthropy. With a steadfast mission to inspire and foster charitable giving, we raise vital funds to support transformative programs, provide scholarships, and create opportunities that empower individuals and uplift communities. Guided by a vision of equity and excellence, we strive to bridge gaps, build legacies, and leave a lasting impact on the lives we touch.

Our Philanthropic History

From our founding in May 1998 as the Nu Lambda Omega Foundation, Inc. (renamed Pearls of Purpose Foundation, Inc. in 2011), we have consistently championed education and opportunity. Our efforts have touched countless lives through scholarships, mentorship, and transformative community events.

KEY MILESTONES

Provided over $85,000 in scholarships during these two years alone.​​

Established and fully capitalized an education endowment, including the Mozel Jenkins Spriggs Endowment.​​

​Awarded $90,250 in scholarships and surpassed $108,000 in community program grants since 2019.

The inaugural Pink Pearl Mother-Daughter Luncheon welcomed 1,200 guests and awarded $12,000 in scholarships.

1998

Expanded scholarship support and youth tennis initiatives, sending students to prestigious camps at Emory and UGA.

Fashionettaâ„  Pageant mentorship programs broke fundraising records and empowered young women through self-development activities.

Launched the Beautillion, enriching young men’s lives through cultural and personal growth experiences.​​

Raised $72,196 through Pink Pearl Luncheons and $27,000 through Pink Pizzazz. Granted $105,000 in scholarships to 45 graduating seniors.​​

Continued success with events like Fashionetta℠, Beautillion, Ivy Cup Tennis Tournament, and HBCU Challenges, resulting in tens of thousands of scholarship dollars and community support.​​

Awarded between $28,000 to $32,000 in annual scholarships.​
